Denti Trick or Treat Street and Sensory Event

This year the Denti PTO provided a safe and fun sensory environment for Supported Learning classes and their families. The special event took place from 4:30-5:30PM, prior to the start of Trick or Treat street. Snacks, goodies, and sensory bins were available to students. Lights were left on, no music, and very minimal people were in the hallways to help make the students more comfortable. Planning was determined by talking closely with the teachers and families of those students. "The Denti PTO wanted to make sure that all of the Denti children and their families had a happy, fun, and safe Halloween event!" said Cynthia Kent, Denti Second Grade Teacher.

At 6PM Trick or Treat street began, music was turned on and lights turned off. This was a great night for all students!
